We love buying extra bananas during our weekly grocery run and letting them overripe just to have an excuse to make banana bread. To us, chocolate chips are must-haves in banana bread and today, we decided to take it up a chocolate notch by making a Double Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread!
We used our Organic Chocolate Cake Mix to easily create this decadent loaf in minutes. This Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread is the perfect combination of banana-y and chocolatey. It quickly became a favorite amongst the Miss Jones Baking Co. HQ.

- Yield: 1 9x5 inch loaf
— 1 box Miss Jones Organic Chocolate Cake Mix
— 3 eggs
— ½ cup melted butter
— 3 large mashed bananas
— 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9×5 in loaf ban.
- Mix together 3 eggs, ½ cup melted butter and mashed bananas. Fold in Miss Jones Organic Chocolate Cake Mix until combined. Pour into loaf pan and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes. Serve warm.
