VEGAN & DAIRY-FREE RECIPES

VEGAN

  • Stir together 3 tablespoons flax and 9 tablespoons water.
  • Let sit for 2 minutes and then stir in 1/2 cup water or plant­-based milk and 1/2 cup oil (canola, coconut, or grape seed).
  • Follow the instructions above and bake as directed.

DAIRY-FREE 

  • Use 3 eggs, 1/2 cup water or plant­-based milk, and 1/2 cup oil.
  • Follow instructions above and bake as directed.

VEGAN

  • Substitute 1/4 cup coconut oil, 1/4 cup almond butter, 5 tablespoons water, and 2 flax eggs (Mix together 2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 6 tbsp water.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before adding to mixture) for the liquid in the recipe. Whisk until smooth and then stir in brownie mix.
  • Bake at 350F for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool completely before cutting and serving.

VEGAN

  • Use 1/4 cup softened vegan butter and 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flax and 3 tbsp water mixed together. Let rest for 5 minutes).
  • Follow normal mixing instructions and bake for 11-13 minutes.
